BioMed Realty Trust CEO Alan Gold Named National Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2008 by Ernst & Young LLP in the Real Estate, Construction and Hospitality Category

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BMR) today announced that Alan D. Gold, BioMed's President and Chief Executive Officer, was named the national winner of the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2008 Award in the Real Estate, Construction and Hospitality category. Ernst & Young's program recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who have built and lead dynamic, high-growth businesses on a regional, national and global level. Mr. Gold was selected as a national winner from approximately 300 regional Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) winners in over 25 US cities.

The national award winners were announced at an awards gala on November 15 in Palm Springs, California. The gala is the culminating event of the Ernst & Young 2008 Strategic Growth Forum. Award winners were selected by an independent judging panel made up of business, community and academic leaders.
