FREDERICK, Md., April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioElectronics Corporation, (Pink Sheets: BIEL), announced a new website, http://www.actipatch.it is now selling the ActiPatch products to the Italian market. TSS Medical, (Tecnica Scientifica Service), designed the site to reach both pharmacies and consumers in Italy. TSS Medical is a medical provider and distributor to Italy's retail pharmacies and is headquartered in Torino, Italy. Over 10,000 ActiPatch units were acquired by TSS Medical to initiate the retail product launch.

ActiPatch is a wafer thin patch with a microcurrent that has been shown to reduce pain and swelling and accelerate healing with no known side effects. The science behind ActiPatch is well-proven and has been successfully used as an office based therapy for many years. BioElectronics Corporation, through it's ActiPatch product, makes this technology available for use in any setting in an easy to wear patch that is placed directly over the soft tissue injury or surgical incision. ActiPatch is drug-free, simple to use and in most cases relieves pain and swelling very quickly. ActiPatch may also be a cost-effective alternative to OTC and prescription medications. Physicians are so impressed with the power of the patch that they are recommending ActiPatch for surgical recovery, sports injuries and other of aches, pains and soft tissue injuries.

Alessio Petricca, Head of Marketing and Operations of TSS Medical explains, "TSS Medical has had an exceptional response to the ActiPatch products, both at the ESRA Congress in Salerno and at the Congress of Chronic Pain in Genoa. The market potential for this innovative, drug-free therapy is enormous." The new website, http://www.actipatch.it provides an informative, easy to use sales channel for the ActiPatch products. Petricca promises that enhancements to the beautifully designed site are coming in the near future.

"We are watching the success of TSS Medical and their new website with great excitement," says Andrew Whelan, CEO of Bioelectronics Corporation. "This may be the beginning of our products becoming a worldwide choice for a drug free, cost-effective treatment for pain and swelling," adds Whelan.
