CONFERENCE CALL AND WEBCAST TO FOLLOW

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCRX) today announced that its third quarter 2007 financial results will be released on Thursday, November 8, 2007. At 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, BioCryst will host a conference call and live webcast. The call will be led by Jon P. Stonehouse, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Stuart Grant, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. BioCryst management will discuss the Company's third quarter results and provide an update on the Company's programs and business results.
