BioCryst Pharmaceuticals to Announce First Quarter 2008 Financial Results on May 8, 2008

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: BCRX) today announced that its first quarter 2008 financial results will be released on Thursday, May 8, 2008. At 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time BioCryst will host a conference call and webcast to discuss the financial results and provide an update on the Company's programs and further clinical data. The call will be led by Jon P. Stonehouse, BioCryst's Chief Executive Officer, and Stuart Grant, BioCryst's Chief Financial Officer.

The webcast can be accessed by logging onto http://www.biocryst.com. Please connect to the website at least 15 minutes prior to the conference call to ensure adequate time for any software download that may be needed to hear the webcast. To participate in the conference call, please dial 1-800-860- 2442 (U.S.). The audio portion of the webcast will be archived and available for replay for 14 days.
