Billions Directed to Baghdad ... Billions Rejected for Children

WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Chaka Fattah (D- PA) responds to the president's veto of the State Child Health Insurance Program.

"The numbers just don't add up. This President is willing to spend $190 billion for the war, but he won't support $35 billion to insure 10 million of our nation's poor children. Quality health insurance is vital to their well being. Today's SCHIP veto proves the President's lack of commitment to leave no child behind."
