Bike Showcase Geared for Kids With Disabilities

MINNEAPOLIS, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Riding a bike is a rite of passage for every kid! Come to Courage Center St. Croix on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to noon to test ride adaptive bikes designed to make this dream come true for kids of all physical abilities. Courage Center St. Croix is located at 1460 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater.

Many manufacturers will be on hand with bikes and tricycles to test drive. Bikes will be available for kids of all physical abilities. We'll also feature simple additions you can make to existing bicycles and tricycles. Both hand and foot-powered cycles will be available. Receive advice on alternative funding options and payment plans. And, each child will go home with a photo to remember their bike riding experience.

Other highlights include:

  • On-site physical therapists available for bike consultation.
  • Low cost adaptation to personal bicycles and tricycles.
  • Information about summer programs, camps and adaptive vacations.

Bring a bike helmet if you have one. Some bike helmets will be available for use on test rides.
