Beyond Vanity: New Treatment Brings Relief to Women After Years of Silent Suffering

ATLANTA, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Rarely written about, seldom spoken of, and often times left untreated, vein disease negatively affects the lives of an astonishing 40% of women and 25% of men. Bulging, knotted, twisted varicose veins take over legs and turn what once were ordinary tasks and activities into painful ordeals.

Kiki, a 34 year old mother of 3, found the varicose veins significantly affected her life and inhibited her daily routine.

"For me, varicose veins were very painful. My leg constantly throbbed and made it increasingly difficult to go about my day," says Kiki. "It made it difficult to walk and keep up with 3 small children. I was not as active as usual because the pain was too bad to stay on my feet."
