EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Better Nutrition, (http://www.betternutrition.com), the country's leading independent health food store magazine, announced today the winners of their "Best of Beauty Awards." The remaining winners in 24 additional sub-categories will be featured in the April 2008 issue.

"With the endless array of natural beauty products available, finding a great moisturizer, lip balm or shampoo can be overwhelming," says Nicole Brechka, editor-in-chief of Better Nutrition. "With these awards, Better Nutrition is taking the guesswork out of the process."

"The beauty organics market has grown almost 20% in sales a year over the past nine years," says Joanna Shirk, publisher of Better Nutrition. "This trend in beauty products towards natural and organic mirrors a greater lifestyle shift among consumers towards interest in organic and natural products as a whole."

The Awards will be featured in the April 2008 issue, and will be augmented with a program cross-marketing the winners at the retail level. The program includes a product-specific shelf-talker program, as well as reprints of the "Best of Beauty" article in 1,200 retail locations nationwide. In addition, there will be a national consumer giveaway contest featured in the April issue.

"We expect that the Best of Beauty Awards will carry a significant weight
