Iron Mountain to Host Free Webcast on Making a Smooth Transition to the EMR

BOSTON, June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), the global leader in information protection and storage services, along with Exempla Healthcare, will share tips during an upcoming Webcast for how healthcare providers can successfully transition to electronic medical records (EMR).

In this free, hour-long Webcast, attendees will learn the chief components and benefits of an effective EMR transition plan. They'll also hear first-hand experiences from Denver-based Exempla Healthcare on how it recently made the transition, lowering its records management costs by 20 percent and increasing access to patient records in the process.

While much of the EMR focus has been on technology since the Obama administration allocated $19 billion in the economic stimulus package for EMR adoption, Iron Mountain advocates the importance of implementing an effective transition plan.
