Date:2/17/2010

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- IMPACT 2010: The Business of Talent®, the only research conference on corporate learning and talent management, will feature keynote addresses from senior executives from IBM and Accenture – two companies that rely on employee talent and skills for business success, as well as 21 breakout sessions and complimentary workshops.  The company's third annual conference will be held April 6-8 at The Vinoy Renaissance Resort in St. Petersburg, FL.

Conference keynotes include:

  • Enabling the Globally Integrated Workforce, Ted Hoff, vice president, Center for Learning and Development, IBM Corporation
  • How to Become a Capability Development Champion, Don Vanthournout, chief learning officer, Accenture
  • Winning People Strategies for the Economic Recovery, Josh Bersin, president, Bersin & Associates.

More than 30 executive speakers – including representatives from Amway, Avon Products, The Boeing Company, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Cisco Systems, Credit Suisse, EMC, GE, PepsiCo, and 7-Eleven will present in-depth case studies and participate in panel discussions on a wide range of topics.  Complimentary workshops for Bersin & Associates research members will cover strategies for social learning, integrated talent management, and business skills for learning executives.

Bersin & Associates analysts will discuss highlights from a range of recent research, including High-Impact Learning Practices, The Corporate Learning Factbook 2010, and High-Impact Leadership Development as well as soon-to-be-published research on learning culture, high–impact HR organizations, and talent acquisition systems.

New for the 2010 conference are 21 breakout sessions and complimentary workshops highlighting actual customer experiences in three key areas: talent management systems, talent acquisition systems, and outsourcing.  These analyst-facilitated discussions will provide attendees with insights and recommendations directly from customers.

"We've hand-selected an outstanding line-up of learning and HR leaders who will share their experiences, perspectives, and real-world advice," said Josh Bersin, president.  "Our entire analyst team will be there for one-on-one briefings related to individual interests and specific initiatives.  I can promise attendees will come away with practical ideas, proven solutions, and new contacts to help improve the business impact and efficiency of their learning and talent management programs."

"IMPACT gives attendees the opportunity to hear about the latest research in the talent space and learn from the people who are actually implementing the industry-leading practices," said Don Vanthournout.  " The conference also serves as a great team experience at which team members can harvest ideas and then strategize on how to best implement in your own environment," he added.

Full details, including the conference agenda, session descriptions, and speakers are available at http://impact2010.bersin.com/.  Bersin & Associates research members can register for IMPACT 2010 for $995.  Non-members can register for $1,295.
