Benefit6 Whole Body Protection, a New Product by I Do Strive LLC, Provides Maximum Antioxidant Protection
Date:12/4/2012

Benefit6 reduces inflammation while providing protective antioxidant support. Maintaining a healthy inflammatory system is vital. Reducing chronic inflammation can provide a wide range of health benefits, including heart and joint support while antioxidants play an important role in fighting cellular damage caused by free radicals.

The key ingredients in Benefit6 provide maximum antioxidant protection. Cocoa can help protect nerves from injury and inflammation. Turmeric plays an important role in the anti-inflammatory response cascade. Too many free radicals attack healthy cells, which, over time, can lead to low-grade inflammation. Alpha-lipoic acid is both water- and fat-soluble, ensuring maximum protection against free radicals. Additionally cocoa may stimulate changes in redox-sensitive signaling pathways involved in gene expression and the immune response.

In one study, Cocoa was shown to lower oxidative stress in lipoproteins and platelets in both men and women. The goal of this research was to investigate the effects of 3 weeks consumption of 50 g flavonoid-rich dark chocolate on lipoprotein oxidative stress in vitro and in vivo in 25 women compared to 25 men. Levels of thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances, conjugated dienes and hydroperoxide levels in HDL and LDL before and after consumption of dark chocolate were determined. This study showed that a short-term intake of dark chocolate might improve the lipoprotein profile in healthy humans, more so in women than in men, and this might exert a protective effect on the cardiovascular system.(1)

In another study they looked at the antioxidant effects of a cinnamon extract in people with impaired fasting glucose that are overweight or obese. In this study 22 subjects, with impaired fasting blood glucose with BMI ranging from 25 to 45, were enrolled in a double-blind placebo-controlled trial. Subjects were given capsules containing either a placebo or 250 mg of an aqueous extract of cinnamon two times per day for 12 weeks. The study results support the hypothesis that the inclusion of water soluble cinnamon compounds in the diet could reduce risk factors associated with diabetes and cardiovascular disease.(2)

Benefit6 is formulated to provide Whole Body Protection by focusing on key areas of health, including brain function, cardiovascular health, weight loss, energy production, inflammation reduction and antioxidant support. Benefit6 is conveniently packaged for optimal use and results.
