Belmont University Graduate Launches Healthy Soul Food Restaurant on Nashville's Historic Jefferson Street

Nashville's historic Jefferson Street is known for its legendary live concerts with Musical Icons such as Nat King Cole, Fats Domino, and Jimi Hendrix each contributing to the ambience of the rich R/B history of this truly eclectic location. In keeping with its pioneering legacy, Jefferson Street will now become the home of JEFFERSONS, the premiere HEALTHY SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT of Nashville.

"As America strives to be health conscious, I decided to open JEFFERSONS, with an entirely new menu emphasizing healthy ingredients to meet current goals of health conscious diners while still maintaining the great flavor of delicious soul food," says Charles Bright, Graduate Belmont University and Owner of JEFFERSONS.

With the goal and vision to create a more modern dimension in relation to Soul Food Cuisine, Bright partnered with East Coast Executive, Robin Bear, where the inspiration of HEALTHY SOUL FOOD was birthed.

"It is our goal to embrace the rich history of JEFFERSON STREET and bring it to life in the new theme and decor of the new restaurant while at the same time bringing Soul Food with a healthy twist to it," says Robin, Managing Director for JEFFERSONS.

With Music City's Popular Chef Rodney Conner serving as Master Chef at the helm of the kitchen, JEFFERSONS is sure to become a hot spot in MUSIC CITY's restaurant scene with sure to be favorites to include Fruity Pebbles Fried Chicken, Tasty Grilled Turkey Wings, and Blackened Salmon with Cajun Sauce.

In addition to the fine dining experience, JEFFERSONS is preparing to launch a BLUES SUNDAY BRUNCH featuring top celebrity artists to be announced.
