"The Texas Discovery Gardens is an exquisite venue for our first annual public service recognitions award ceremony," says event chair, John David Torres who recently joined the Board of Directors for La Voz Del Anciano. "We want to send a message of collaboration, compassion, and community," Mr. Torres asserts.

The collaborative efforts were led by the Texas Discovery Gardens and La Voz Del Anciano but were solidified by the hard work dedication and unselfish generosity of young leaders in the making and the tradition of culture and culinary scrumptiousness of El Ranchito Restaurant. "We have supported La Voz Del Anciano for many years and we will continue to help them," says Mr. Juan Sanchez speaking for El Ranchito. The purpose of the event is to teach our young people the importance of leadership, involvement, and service but most importantly of gratitude. We live in a great country, led by great individuals and they need to be recognized.
