BayCare Health System Collaborates With Accenx to Provide Reliable Exchange of Information
Date:2/19/2008

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Accenx Technologies, Inc., a leading company in electronic medical record (EMR) interoperability and health care data integration solutions, and BayCare Health System of Clearwater, FL, announced today that the health system has selected Accenx Technologies to implement its RyTRAK HIE system to exchange clinical data with its physician community.

RyTRAK HIE allows health care providers to exchange clinical data seamlessly between different systems and across organizational boundaries. Offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, RyTRAK HIE enables healthcare organizations to avoid high front-end software license costs in favor of a subscription model, while eliminating the substantial IT resource investment often required to support new enterprise-wide software.

RyTRAK HIE enables a hospital to send lab, radiology, pathology results and other clinical data directly to the EMR's of affiliated physicians. BayCare will initially focus on the exchange of lab results with BayCare physicians.

David, Cheng, CEO of Accenx Technologies, said, "We could not be more pleased to be working with a premier health care system like BayCare that is so committed to outreach to its affiliated physicians and to providing real-time clinical information to improve the practice of evidenced based medicine."
