Date:4/21/2009

AUSTIN, Texas, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH), a 60-bed acute hospital located in Butler, MO and serving Bates County and surrounding areas, has selected Opus Healthcare Solutions, Inc. to implement the OpusClinicalSuite(R) EMR. The hospital offers a wide range of services including a 24-hour physician staffed emergency department, in-patient and out-patient surgery and maternity care, with extensive outpatient specialty clinics and a physician staff numbering 60 and representing a broad cross-section of specialty areas.

Coupled with the fact that the OpusClinicalSuite(R) is truly Web-based, the ease-of-use navigational tools will help to accelerate adoption of this EMR technology for the clinical staff at Bates County Memorial Hospital.

Wendell Harris, CEO, FACHE of BCMH, noted, "We believe that the vendor selection process has led us to the right choice in Opus Healthcare. As an organization, we will benefit greatly from the OpusClinicalSuite(R) EMR. From strengthening Bates' commitment to the quality of patient care, to attracting and retaining the highest caliber of physician and clinical staff, to th
