Barr Will Host an Earnings Conference Call on August 7, 2008 to Discuss the Results for the Second Quarter of Calendar 2008

(NYSE: BRL) today announced that the Company will host a Conference Call at 8:30AM Eastern time on Thursday, August 7 to discuss earnings results for the second quarter of calendar 2008, ended June 30, 2008. A replay of the conference call will be available from 10:30AM Eastern time on August 7 through 11:59PM Eastern time on August 21 and can be accessed by dialing (800) 475-6701 in the United States or (320) 365-3844 Internationally and using the access code 930193.
