Just in time for Earth Day, Barefoot Yoga Company has added a new product line to their wide selection of eco-friendly yoga mats, called the Barefoot Yoga Hybrid Nature Mat. This new mat is a variation on their popular Hybrid Eco Mats, which are made without the toxic phthalates or heavy metals found in traditional PVC yoga mats, but still offer the longevity, durability and traction of a traditional mat.
Barefoot Yoga’s Hybrid Nature Mats are available in nature-inspired color blends, which combine two tones to create a marbled look. Like the Hybrid Eco Mat, these new mats come in two thicknesses: the thinner 1/8” mats are the more general-purpose mats, suitable for any type of yoga, whereas the 1/4” thicker mats are preferred by practitioners of restorative yoga, and those who prefer extra cushioning for their hands, feet and knees.
“One of the core principles of Yoga is respect for the balance of nature," says Barefoot Yoga Company founder and owner Kelly LeFebvre. "Our new Hybrid Nature Yoga Mat is part of our ongoing commitment to encourage more environmentally friendly yoga products and a greener planet."
Barefoot Yoga Hybrid Nature Mats can be purchased through their website at http://www.barefootyoga.com, as well as at yoga studios and shops worldwide.
