Barbara Corcoran’s new “Our Mountains to Climb: A Journey of Love and Faith Through Trials” is a tale of love, faith and strength as a couple preserves through struggles.
Date:8/18/2017

“Our Mountains to Climb: A Journey of Love and Faith Through Trials”: a gripping and potent tale of a couple that grew stronger together through the faith they shared to overcome struggles in life. “Our Mountains to Climb: A Journey of Love and Faith Through Trials” is the creation of published author, Barbara J. Corcoran, a retired teacher and happily married since 1999; the author’s personal experiences drive this narrative.

Corcoran shares, “Later, I read in a marriage book that love is a decision. When you meet the right person for you who has the character matched with your character that no matter what happens in life, you can make the decision each day to love them through the good and difficult times. This suddenly all made sense to me. I had always heard that you don’t have a choice of whom you love because it is something that happens to you. But actually, the decision is ours; even though it may not be an easy one at times, it is the correct one if we are the right one for each other.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Barbara J. Corcoran’s new book takes readers on the journey Corcoran went through finding a partner and the ordeals the couple had to overcome to stay together.

Barbara J. Corcoran never saw herself being unmarried over forty, but life had other plans for her. Faithful that God would provide a path, Corcoran never stopped looking for the one. Through friendship with a kindred spirit named Bob, Barbara had found her path. Shortly after meeting each other and starting up a potent friendship the couple was hit with terrible medical troubles that kickstarted their relationship as they dealt with it. This led to the start of a relationship that endures to this day.
