Date:5/14/2008

throughout greater Boston," said Bob Gallery, Massachusetts President, Bank of America. "Through Tastes of the Tour, we are continuing to support the tournament's charitable heritage, while providing fans with a unique golf and culinary experience."

Through the Tastes of the Tour, Bank of America will donate $50,000 to The Grow Clinic whose mission is to provide comprehensive medical, nutritional, social services and dietary assistance to children from the Greater Boston area diagnosed with Failure To Thrive (FTT). Children with FTT have significant problems growing and are not keeping pace with weight or height gain when compared to other children their age. Children are referred to The Grow Clinic by clinics and physicians throughout the Greater Boston area for special care. The Grow Clinic for Children is an outpatient subspecialty clinic at Boston Medical Center, started in 1984 to provide comprehensive specialty medical, nutritional and social services and dietary assistance to children from the Greater Boston area referred with Failure to Thrive by their primary care physician.

Event organizers are also encouraging tournament attendees to bring non-perishable food items to the Bank of America Championship, which will be collected at each admission gate and donated to The Grow Clinic's food bank.

"Bank of America has served up a terrific program for golf fans," said Ming Tsai, author, host of the popular cooking show Simply Ming and chef/owner of Blue Ginger. "I am honored to be a part of an event that broadens people's culinary horizons and helps improve the health and well-being of local children."

The twenty-eighth annual Bank of America Championship takes place June 20-22 at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. In 2007, the Bank of America Championship donated $377,500 to local charities. The tournament is the oldest 54-hole event on the Champions Tour and has been held at Nashawtuc Country Club since 1984. Over the past 27 years,
