Heritage Woods of Flora, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a Healthy Living Seminar on Diabetes at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24.
The community, which is located at 1003 W. 4th St. in Flora, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
The seminar is being presented in partnership with Clay County Hospital. Steve Welty, R.N., Diabetic Educator, will be the speaker.
The program is open to the public, and there is no charge to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Heritage Woods of Flora is the only community in Clay County that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The affordable assisted living community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the leading provider of assisted living in Illinois.
