BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community to Open on June 28 in Freeport, Illinois
Date:6/10/2013

Bradley, IL (PRWEB) June 10, 2013

Heritage Woods of Freeport, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will be opening for occupancy on Friday, June 28.

The community, which will be located at 1500 S. Forest Rd. in Freeport, Illinois, will serve older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

“We will be moving our Sales Office into the building on Tuesday, June 11, and begin moving residents into their apartments on June 28,” says Kelly Hillan, Administrator of Heritage Woods of Freeport. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Senior Resource Center in Freeport.

“What impresses me the most is seeing how we will be able to make such a big difference in the quality of people’s lives,” says Hillan.

More than 50% of the private apartments that will be available at Heritage Woods of Freeport already have been reserved.

“We have older adults from throughout Stephenson County who will be moving into the community as well as older adults from outside our area who are moving in to be close to family,” says Hillan.

Freeport, which is located in north central Illinois about 25 miles west of Rockford, serves as the county seat for Stephenson County.

For more information about Heritage Woods of Freeport and reserving an apartment, call 815-801-3900.

The Heritage Woods community is being developed by BMA Management, Ltd., in partnership with the Stephenson County Nursing Center Foundation. BMA, which is the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois, will serve as the management company.

“We will provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Hillan.
