BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host Senior Prom
Date:5/10/2013

Bradley, IL (PRWEB) May 10, 2013

Heritage Woods of Batavia, a BMA affordable assisted living community in Kane County, Illinois, is hosting its annual Senior Prom from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17.

The community, which is located at 1079 E. Wilson Street in Batavia, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

“This year, our prom will have a military theme,” says Jennifer Hanke, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Batavia. The prom will feature live music by Rat Pack Jazz, dancing, appetizers and other refreshments.

“We also will be crowning our 2013 Senior Prom Queen and King,” says Hanke.

Tickets are $14 each.

For more information about the Senior Prom or Heritage Woods of Batavia or to reserve your spot, call Hanke at 630-406-9440.

The community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

“We provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Hanke. “Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with medications.”

Each of the private apartments at Heritage Woods of Batavia features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
