BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host Mother's Day Brunch

Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

The community, which is located at 550 Kildeer Drive in Bolingbrook, Ill., serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need help maintaining their independence.

“To show our appreciation for mothers, we are inviting the community to join us for our Mother’s Day brunch,” said Jolleen Simonson, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook. “Our chef is preparing a wonderful meal, and we will have great entertainment as we honor mothers everywhere. This is an event you do not want to miss.”

Guests can sip on mimosas as they enjoy prime rib or Cornish hen with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Live musical entertainment is planned, and ladies who attend the brunch will receive a flower.

This event is open to the community. There is no charge to attend.

"Our community provides older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says Simonson. "Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with their medications.

Each of the private studio and one-bedroom apartments at Heritage Woods features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.
