BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host 10th Anniversary Party

Eagle Ridge of Decatur, a BMA Management affordable assisted living community, is hosting a 10th Anniversary Party from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.

The community, which is located at 875 W. McKinley Ave. in Decatur, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

“We are honored to have served hundreds of older adults and their families since we opened for occupancy in 2003,” says Amy Bretz, Administrator. “We look forward to celebrating our 10th Anniversary with you.”

The anniversary party at Eagle Ridge will feature the entertainment of the Michael Scherer Jazz Trio and harpist Nina Lee.

“We’ll be serving cocktails and BMA’s Executive Chef Tim Renner will be tempting your palette with an Italian appetizer buffet and showing off his food sculpting talents,” says Bretz.

The anniversary party is open to the public, and there is no cost to attend.

Eagle Ridge is the first community in Macon County to have been certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

The affordable assisted living community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services.
