Heritage Woods of Ottawa, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will be honoring mothers with a Tea and Fashion Show at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
The community, which is located at 801 E. Etna Rd. in Ottawa, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"Come join us as we celebrate Mother's Day a couple of days early," says Deb Pusateri, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Ottawa.
Residents and staff of Heritage Woods will be modeling the fashions in the Fashion Show.
The event is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Each of the private studio and one-bedroom apartments at Heritage Woods of Ottawa features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in social activities such our Tea and Fashion Show," says Pusateri.
