BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community in Chicago to Host Hat and Glove Brunch
Date:5/3/2013

Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) May 03, 2013

Churchview Supportive Living, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a Hat and Glove Brunch to honor mothers from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 10.

The community, which is located at 2626 W. 63rd St. in Chicago's southwest side, serves low-income older adults who need some help to maintain their independence.

"We invite you to join us for a wonderful brunch, guest speaker, musical tribute to mothers, raffle prize give-aways and more," says Thalia Barrow, Director of Marketing for Churchview Supportive Living. A.E. Jones from the Southside Worship Center in Chicago will be the guest speaker.

For more information about the Hat and Glove Brunch or Churchview Supportive Living, call 773-471-4444.

"Our community provides low-income seniors, including those on Medicaid, with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says Barrow. "Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with medications."

Each of the private apartments at Churchview Supportive Living features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in social activities and special programs such as our Hat and Glove Brunch tribute to mothers," says Barrow.

Churchview Supportive Living is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The community is owned by the Greater Southwest Development Corp. and is operated by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

"Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity that they deserve and the help and assistance that they need," says Rod Burkett, President and CEO of BMA.

Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA Management operates 36 assisted living, senior living and memory care communities that together house nearly 3,400 homes and apartments.

Communities managed by BMA include the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living communities in Batavia, Bolingbrook, Chicago, Gurnee, McHenry Plainfield and Yorkville, Illinois.
