B-Line Medical(R) and Mentice, Inc. Announce Data Integration Partnership

WASHINGTON and EVANSTON, Ill., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- B-Line Medical, LLC and Mentice, Inc. today announced a data integration partnership facilitating integration of a broad range of Mentice products with B-Line Medical's SimCapture(R). SimCapture is an all-in-one solution for capturing, debriefing, assessing, and centralizing multiple types of simulation encounters. Mentice, manufacturer of the Mentice VIST(TM) endovascular surgical simulator, develops programs and curricula for training in a safe environment in the field of endovascular intervention.

Using its unique SimMerge(TM) technology, SimCapture provides a universal platform that simplifies the way video and data from a wide array of simulation activities is stored, accessed, and analyzed.

B-Line Medical's SimCapture is designed to maximize the investment made in simulation technology by capturing and distributing all elements of the simulated encounter. SimCapture records multiple video feeds in digital format, handles annotation and debriefing, integrates with multiple simulator types (including both VR devices and mannequins), and automatically assembles web-based portfolios as participants engage in encounters. By cooperating on data integration, Mentice's product offerings hold more value and become more attractive to B-Line Medical clients, while existing Mentice clients have the option of extending the functionality of their procedural trainers by implementing B-Line Medical's state of the art recording, debriefing, and data management tools.
