BETHLEHEM, Pa., Jan 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) has launched a new Web site exclusively devoted to products, support services and educational information for home infusion therapy (HIT).

The new online resource, www.hit.bbraunusa.com, provides a fast and easy way for home healthcare providers and suppliers to learn about B. Braun's HIT product offerings, designed to help deliver quality, effective and safe care to the home care market.

"Our goal is to ensure the HIT market has the highest quality service and support to help our customers care for their patients," said Scott Quilty, Vice President of the Outpatient Markets (OPM) Division of B. Braun Medical Inc. "In addition to our dedicated specialized sales force, this Web site acts as our resource 24/7. It's a powerful platform to position B. Braun as a leading provider of products and services ideally suited for home care."

B. Braun supplies a full line of infusion therapy products to the home infusion market. The new Web site features a portfolio of products in the vascular access and IV systems, infusion pumps, fluids and drug delivery systems categories and a comprehensive array of compounding and pharmacy admixture products. B. Braun also offers the broadest line of PVC-free and DEHP-free IV solutions, latex-free products, as well as the OnGuard(TM) Contained Medication System and the PINNACLE(R) TPN Management System.

Quilty said the site will further support a strong relationship between B. Braun and the HIT community. For example, to remind customers about clinical best practices, B. Braun offers its infection prevention educational materials and they'll be available on the Web site.

"It's our hope," he said, "that the site will also enhance our ongoing dialogue with home infusion therapy providers so we can build on the services we currently offer and develop new products and services to meet the needs of the market."
