BILLERICA, Mass, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Axsun Technologies Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced photonic components and subsystems, today announced that the company has entered into multi-million dollar Strategic Supply Agreement with Lantis Laser (Pink Sheets: LLSR). Under this multi-year exclusive agreement for Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) dental imaging, Axsun will supply the Integrated Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Engine for Lantis' OCT Dental Imaging System (TM), to be introduced to the market in the first quarter of 2009.

"From Axsun's perspective, Lantis' introduction of OCT technology into dentistry provides us with an excellent opportunity to use our expertise in high-volume, cost-effective manufacturing to demanding specifications, for this very exciting worldwide market," said Dale Flanders, CEO of Axsun.

The technology has finally caught up with the application and put Lantis on target to introduce the OCT into the dental market in the first quarter of 2009."
