Axium Healthcare Picks CPR+ as Its Specialty Pharmacy Management Software

ORLANDO, Fla. and COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Axium Healthcare Pharmacy, one of the nation's largest independent specialty pharmacy providers, and Definitive Homecare Solutions, the developers of CPR+ software, announced today Axium's selection of CPR+ as its specialty pharmacy management software system.

"We recognized that to support our continued growth, we needed a software platform to improve efficiencies in our patient management and reimbursement processes with robust clinical functionality to maintain Axium's consistent high level of patient care," said Mark Montgomery, President and CEO of Axium Healthcare. "Our selection of CPR+ reflects not only our conclusion that CPR+ is the best specialty pharmacy software solution on the market, but also that Definitive Homecare Solutions is the best partner to deliver and support that solution."

As part of Axium's implementation process, Definitive Homecare Solutions will be designing added features in its CPR+ software, specifically for specialty pharmacies with Axium's operations in mind. These development initiatives will include features such as a workflow management queue tailored to match the processes of high-volume specialty pharmacies, like Axium.

Axium will roll out CPR+ to its pharmacies in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico, as well as its headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, with full implementation scheduled for completion in November 2009.
