Axeda Selected for Remote Monitoring and Service of Automation Technologies

FOXBORO, Mass., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Axeda Corporation, the secure remote service and support company today announced that McKesson Automation, a division of McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK), has selected the Axeda(R) ServiceLink solution for remote service of its automation technologies for hospitals, which ensure safety and accuracy throughout the medication use process.

In addition to proactive monitoring, the Axeda(R) Software Management application will be used to remotely deliver product updates, features, and patches -- allowing the automation equipment to operate at peak performance, while reducing the cost and complexity of the software distribution process.
