Award-Winning Inventor Michael Croix Launches an Indiegogo Campaign for PoofPad
Date:7/29/2014

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 29, 2014

Award-winning inventor Michael Croix has launched an Indiegogo campaign for PoofPad, a flatulence neutralizer specifically designed to absorb embarrassing odors in the office. PoofPad is a discrete bag of activated charcoal that can easily be stored in a desk drawer. This compact packaging is designed for ease of use. To use the PoofPad, users will simply sit on the pad and poof away!

“We’ve all been there. You pass gas at the office and then BAM, someone appears out of nowhere. It’s embarrassing and unpleasant for everyone involved, and now that never has to happen again,” says developer Michael Croix.

How it Works
Each PoofPad is comprised of 175 grams of activated charcoal. One gram of activated charcoal has the absorbent surface area of about 500 square meters. Therefore, each PoofPad contains over 75,000 square meters of gas gobbling technology.

PoofPad’s flatulence deodorizing capability is directly related to how effective the user directs their gas into the pad. For best results, pile the carbon a little higher in the back to force the gas forward and down into the PoofPad. Please be advised that although PoofPad may muffle the sound of flatus, it is not considered a noise canceling device.

Though Michael Croix is a renowned inventor and developer, PoofPad is actually his first attempt at venturing a product himself, as opposed to licensing products to other companies. To continue his philosophy of low-risk and low-cost product developments, Michael chose to test the marketplace for this product by crowdfunding the venture on Indiegogo. Indiegogo provides a safe platform to test the market potential for prospective products. To view the campaign and to pre-order PoofPads, please visit http://igg.me/at/poofpad.

Michael explains, “I’ve always been more interested in the truth than being right. As long as I can draw attention this Indiegogo campaign, the crowd will either pre-order PoofPads into existence or allow me to cross it off my invention list and move onto the next best thing.”

Michael chose to bring PoofPad to market because he believes this product potentially has a large market, high profit margins, and that niche buzz necessary for a campaign to go viral.
