Avoiding Child Obesity: Children Eat Vegetables with Author of New Picture Book, A Hungry Lion in My Tummy

& Cheese is the only thing they want, then let it be a privilege on the weekends--not a regular diet and only if they eat a vegetable or salad with it. More importantly, don't let children's meals dictate your lives. When your family is at a restaurant, serve your child food off of your plate with chicken, a vegetable and a salad. How else will they learn the right way to eat?"

A Hungry Lion in My Tummy brings a healthy message and enthusiasm to children and adults at any event. The refrain in the book, "But that's not enough for a hungry lion," gets everyone involved and leaves a lasting impression in more ways than one.
