Avid Collector Seeks 1968 Jimi Hendrix Honolulu Hic Arena Concert Posters
Date:2/24/2013

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) February 24, 2013

Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters is a dedicated collector of 1950's and 1960's vintage concert posters. Hawley is searching for vintage 1968 Jimi Hendrix Honolulu HIC Arena concert posters. This concert was on October 5, 1968. According to Hawley, “The show was promoted by legendary Hawaii concert promoter Tom Moffat and the poster was printed locally in Hawaii. This poster has a Hawaii wood carving style using a famous Jim Marshall photograph of Jimi Hendrix taken at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. The silkscreen poster was printed on thick board and uses a very effective blue, black and magenta color combination creating a psychedelic effect. This would be one of three appearances that Hendrix would make in Hawaii, which included a concert at the Waikiki Shell in 1969.”

Hawley is on the hunt for this poster or any other vintage 1967-70 Jimi Hendrix concert posters. He is willing to pay $3,000 cash for each poster. Any condition would be accepted. Please call 310-346-1965 or email Andrew at vintageconcertposterbuyer.com.
