AutismOne Announces Global HPV Advocacy, Continuing Medical Education, and Scientific Medicinal Cannabis Emphases at 2016 Conference
Date:11/9/2015

AutismOne, which holds the nation’s largest and most comprehensive annual conference covering autism and related issues, announced key initiatives for the May 2016 convention in Chicago.

Said AutismOne President Ed Arranga: ”It’s been a tough year for the autism community, with vaccine mandates and more vaccine-injured children with autism – but this doesn’t have to be the future. We are excited to work with SaneVax’s Norma Erickson to host the first Global HPV Advocacy Symposium at AutismOne 2016 in Chicago. We are bringing advocates from around the world who are making a difference currently and who will join with us in a continuing initiative. The science is solid; the problem is global, and the solution will be as well. We will work and win as a global community.” Added Norma Erickson, “HPV vaccines are the poster children for anything that could possibly go wrong with a vaccine or a vaccination program.”

Executive Director Teri Arranga described an expanded focus on education pertaining to biomedical interventions and collaborative advocacy: “AutismOne, in cooperation with the American Association of Integrative Medicine, is delighted to invite physicians, nurses, and healthcare practitioners to a multi-day Continuing Medical Education credit program, where they can learn a progressive approach to integrative pediatric issues, including autism. Doctors, nurses, and integrative health professionals can earn CME credits and also move forward in this program, which is the first continuing medical educational program nationally that will lead to board certification in integrative pediatrics.”

Mr. Arranga offered: “In response to the US Surgeon General’s statements about preliminary data that some conditions can be helped by medical cannabis,[1] AutismOne 2016 has an extended Endocannabinoid Medicine track that will feature lectures and panel discussion from credentialed clinicians, researchers, and advocates, bringing attendees information on science pertaining to the endocannabinoid system as well as medicinal components, like CBD and THC, that have been shown to have a positive effect on symptoms.”

Consistent with concerns cited by the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding children and the WHO’s EMF (electromagnetic fields) research agenda,[2] an exciting new highlight of the 2016 event will be available for the enjoyment and edification of attendees. The Clear Light Ventures’ Clear Space will demonstrate elements of a model healthy home with emphases on key environmental suspects in autism. The space will feature low wireless and EMF along with low noise, high-quality lighting, good air quality, and low toxins. The Clear Space will model an ideal natural environment for our children’s nervous systems to grow without interference. The space will also demonstrate what an ideal space feels like so attendees can experience the benefits. Illustrations and other items for creating a safe and healthy home environment will line the walls. The Clear Space will be a quiet place to relax and recharge during the conference. Experts will share what they know and appreciate attendee feedback.

The Focus for Health track will present the latest crucial information about reframing discussions about autism, chronic illness, and the environment from speakers Dr. Brian Hooker, Dr. David Lewis, and Sheri Marino, MA, CCC-SLP. The mission of the Focus for Health Foundation (FFH) is to promote advocacy, education, and research to combat the rise of chronic illness occurring around the world. FFH supports efforts that increase public awareness of the connection between hazardous environmental exposures and the immune system and addresses how social determinants of health and inequality within populations creates vulnerability to disease.

Can the nightmare of scientific genocide return? AutismOne welcomes keynote speaker, syndicated columnist Edwin Black, the award-winning, New York Times bestselling international investigative author of 120 editions in 14 languages in 65 countries. With more than a million books in print, his work includes focuses on human rights, genocide and hate, corporate criminality and corruption, governmental misconduct, academic fraud, and historical investigation. He is the author of War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race. Said Wesley Smith of the National Review: "Edwin Black has written what may well be the best book ever published about the American eugenics movement and the horrific events it spawned…Black splendidly conveys the evil depth and breadth of eugenics philosophy, the pseudo-science and social theory that unleashed a half-century of war against society's most vulnerable citizens.” For his eugenic investigations, Edwin Black was the recipient of the Justice for All Award of the Association of Americans with Disabilities as well as the Moral Courage Award of California State University.

The focus of AutismOne is to provide information to preserve and restore health and function to children and families, especially those affected by an autism diagnostic label. AutismOne seeks to provide a valuable educational forum, bringing together expert clinicians, researchers, therapists, advocates, first responders and more in order to better understand all aspects of autism and other factors that impact the autism community. AutismOne thanks Premier Sponsor Focus for Health; Gold Sponsor Clear Light Ventures; Platinum Sponsors Elan Energetics, MEDomics, CW Botanicals, and MitoSynergy; and all of our very kind conference sponsors and exhibitors for supporting enlightened help and truth to children and families.

The conference will be held at the beautiful Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. Registration opens November 10. Early-bird discount registration pricing is available. Please visit http://www.autismone.org.
