Date:7/10/2013

cluding Santa Clarita, Saugus, Canyon Country, Valencia and Newhall) (PRWEB) July 10, 2013

Santa Clarita, CA (in Working With Autism Inc. (WWA) announces an expansion of its behavioral autism services for the treatment of autism and pervasive developmental disorders, as early as this fall into the Santa Clarita Valley including Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus and Valencia. With coverage from most major insurance providers, families challenged by autism will now have access to quality therapy and treatment for an autistic teen or child in the home, school and community setting.

As one of the leading service providers for behavioral therapy, Working With Autism offers ABA programs, social and community integration, initial assessments, and parent training, all managed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). WWA services include those for kids with autism ranging from infants to adolescents as well as autism training, and BCBA supervision for instructors.

"I am thrilled that we have the ability to reach out to the Santa Clarita and surrounding areas, and our local staff is excited to expand our services to these new families. I am hopeful that given the expertise of our staff, and the quality and range of our behavioral services, WWA will bring significant positive changes to many families in Santa Clarita."

WWA’s reach into Santa Clarita Valley places it at the center of quality educational development for youth. Several Santa Clarita schools rank among the top 10 percent in California based on the California Assessment Program. However, additional service programs like WWA’s PEERS Social Skills program gives teens with autism valuable social education, such as how to handle rejection, teasing or bullying. In a city that is known for catering to families, the WWA’s new branch is a perfect fit for the large population of families in need of quality care.
