The Remuda Cornerstone Bookstore on May 2

PHOENIX, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Remuda Programs for Eating Disorders (http://www.remudaranch.com), the nation's leading and largest inpatient treatment center for women and girls suffering from eating disorders, is hosting a book signing event with the authors of the new book "Distorted - How a Mother and Daughter Unraveled the Truth, the Lies & the Realities of an Eating Disorder". Lorri Antosz Benson and her daughter Taryn Leigh Benson will discuss their personal journeys from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 2 at the Remuda Cornerstone Bookstore, 48 N. Tegner Street in Wickenburg, Ariz. For more information on the event, please call 928-684-4242.

Taryn suffered from both anorexia and bulimia for more than three years. In the book, she writes about what she went through and how loved ones were affected by the disorder. Buzz about the book is fast moving and the co-authors have already appeared on NBC's Today Show and the Montel Williams Show.

Publishing a book was a combination of ideas from both mother and daughter. The writing, editing and publishing process lasted about three years. For more information on the au
