Date:5/19/2009

"I Can See Clearly Now" Helps Readers Seek Deeper Meaning in Their Lives During Turbulent Times

LOUISVILLE, Colo., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Mary Soliel's debut non-fiction, "I Can See Clearly Now: How Synchronicity Illuminates Our Lives," was chosen as an "Indie" Finalist in the "Spirituality" category of the 2009 National Indie Excellence Awards, announced on May 15, 2009. Her book was previously selected by USA Book News as a Finalist in both "Best New Non-Fiction" and "Best New Age Non-Fiction" categories of the National Best Books 2008 Awards.

The National Indie Excellence Awards (NIEA) are designed to bring recognition to titles from independent publishers. The respected and prestigious awards program celebrates excellence in independent publishing. The competition is judged by an independent panel of experts from all aspects -- editing, marketing, publicity and design -- of the publishing industry.

"The Indie Excellence Awards review thousands of new books from independent publishers across the USA," said founder, Ellen Reid. Awards are granted in over 80 fiction and nonfiction categories.

Ms. Soliel describes why readers are attracted to the book's message: "With the volatile economic, social and environmental changes we are enduring in this world, a growing number of people are looking for deeper meaning in their lives," says Soliel. "They are seeking out assurances that we will be okay, to know that these changes are actually moving us toward creating a better, brighter and more peaceful world. And one of the best ways we can see this shift, for what it truly means, is through miraculous synchronicity."

Soliel's book provides a significant and magical way of looking at life through synchronicity. The famous psychiatrist Carl Jung coined the term synchronicity and regarded coincidences as being actually meaningful. Soliel delves into the mysteries of this phenomenon and
