Author Edward Tooley’s Newly Released “Rounding Third and Headed for Home” is One Boy’s Heartwarming Journey From disappointment to Joy Playing the Game he Loves
Date:6/7/2017

“Rounding Third and Headed for Home”: a heartwarming tale of lilting rhymes narrating a universal story of childhood hope, disappointment, and perseverance. “Rounding Third and Headed for Home” is the creation of published author Edward Tooley, a freelance writer from Glendale, California who has published numerous articles focusing on education, family life, and Christian living.

At the age of nine, Ed received a brand-new baseball glove and fell in love with the game of baseball. Ed signed up to play Little League. Each year, he got bigger and better. At the end of each season, an All-Star team was announced. The ceremony was like no other for a young boy. Crowds of people came to see which players would be selected to the team. Ed was confident that this year he would be chosen one of the All Stars. He had waited a long time for this special moment. A very special surprise awaits him if only he is willing to persevere.

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Edward Tooley’s new book is a warm and relatable story of a young boy’s love of baseball and his journey through disappointment and despair to perseverance and triumph.
