Date:7/20/2017

“Fidget”: a fun-filled, action-packed memoir of adventures. “Fidget” is the creation of published author, Carol Lynn Sisk, a retired public high school music and drama teacher who was a summa cum laude graduate of Gardner Webb University. She has won numerous awards during her educational career, including a “Teacher of the Year” award. After her retirement from public school, Lynn continued to pursue her love for music through playing piano, harp, organ, and directing church music. Currently, she serves as the music director for her church and as an in-house musician at a local funeral home. She also teaches private piano lessons while continuing to compose and write.

“Fidget…the perfect nickname to describe her...that Clancy girl who can’t be still…that Clancy girl who talks incessantly…that Clancy girl who goes from one mischievous prank to another!” --Carol Lynn Sisk

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Carol Lynn Sisk’s new book tells the story of the author’s childhood as a fidgety, mischievous girl.

“Fidget” is the true story of author Carol Lynnette Clancy. Carol Lynn Clary grew up during the exciting time that was the 1950s and 1960s. The story covers the author’s early years from her birth up to the age of twelve.

During her childhood, she spent time in both the North and South where she learned the customs and dialects of several geographical regions. The author’s heritage, speech, mannerisms, neighbors, friends, and acquaintances, combined with historical events of the time period, create a fun-filled, action-packed memoir of adventures. Through it all, however, God’s providence and guidance are always evident in the life of Fidget.
