Aurora Health Care and ECRS Complete 112 Location Retail Automation Project
Date:12/10/2009

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Aurora Health Care and ECR Software Corporation (ECRS) announce the successful completion of an extensive, 112 location point-of-sale (POS) implementation project. Aurora Health Care is a leading, not-for-profit, Wisconsin-based health care provider. ECRS provides innovative, comprehensive POS and inventory automation solutions for retailers across North America.

Aurora Health Care selected the ECRS Catapult(TM) solution, in part, to help its pharmacy retail locations meet changing industry-related government regulations including IIAS compliance and pseudoephedrine tracking.

ECRS Catapult also provides centralized enterprise management for their gift and pharmacy retail stores. The system enables consolidation of store promotions, pricing, security settings and financial reporting for performance monitoring and sales trend detection across the diverse enterprise. This functionality saves cost and time by automating and centralizing key administrative functions.

This was all done in an effort to better serve Aurora's patients and customers and meet the demands of a rapidly changing business.

"ECRS was able to complete a tight implementation deadline and helped Aurora meet IRS regulations for IIAS compliance. This enabled our customers to use their health benefit debit cards in all Aurora locations," said John Pike, Clinical Operations Manager for Aurora. "Catapult has provided our Finance department better visibility into the performance of the stores and has saved countless hours because of data availability and accessibility."

"Aurora Health Care is a renowned leader in health care and community-focused service. It is important that such health leaders are provided the tools for operational efficiency, customer service, regulatory compliance and overall continued success," said ECRS CEO & Founder, Peter Catoe.
