Aurora Health Care Launches ORBIT, Open-Source Robotic Biorepository & Informatics Technology

MILWAUKEE, April 15 /PRNewswire/ --

    WHAT:       The Open-Source Robotic Biorepository & Informatics Technology
                is a resource intended to help researchers further the
                developing field of personalized medicine. ORBIT includes a
                library of blood samples and privacy-protected medical
                records, which is expected to accelerate the pace of clinical
                research and improve medicine's ability to develop novel
                therapies for many illnesses. In addition, research results
                from ORBIT will be open to scientists worldwide to minimize
                study repetition and to allow others to build on previous
