J.D. Power and Associates Also Names Kaiser Permanente "Highest in Member Satisfaction" Among All Colorado Health Plans

DENVER, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente Colorado is the top-ranked commercial health plan and the top-ranked Medicare plan in Colorado according to a joint ranking by U.S. News & World Report and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

The November 7, 2008 online edition of U.S. News & World Report ranks the nation's best health plans and determined that Kaiser Permanente leads Colorado in quality and member satisfaction. The rankings will be available online at http://www.usnews.com/healthplans.

Nationally, Kaiser Permanente Colorado's Medicare Advantage Plan was ranked #8. Among nearly 300 commercial health plans in the U.S., Kaiser Permanente Colorado was ranked #42. Both of these premier rankings earned Kaiser Permanente Colorado honors as one of "America's Best Health Plans" in 2008.

Kaiser Permanente received attention for its best in class service earlier this year when J.D. Power and Associates named the company "Highest in Member Satisfaction" among all health plans in Colorado.
