Attorney Deborah Truhowsky Featured On “Paying It Forward” Internet Broadcast Program
Date:12/10/2012

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 10, 2012

Attorney Deborah Truhowsky, Senior Counsel for the Law Firm of D. F. Truhowsky, will be featured on the Internet broadcast program “Paying It Forward with Josephine Geraci” on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. In the program, Ms. Geraci interviews successful entrepreneurs who share their business and life lessons with others regarding their fields of expertise.

Ms. Truhowsky will discuss her experiences as an Elder Neglect and Abuse Lawyer, identifying some of the common forms of elder abuse that can occur in residential care and nursing facilities. Family members and other concerned parties should be alert to the symptoms of neglect or abuse in an elderly resident under the care of a facility. Some of these symptoms may be subtle and difficult to identify; Ms. Truhowsky will discuss how interested family members can spot and identify these symptoms.

“I look forward to this opportunity to help others who have loved ones in nursing homes or elder care facilities”, stated Ms. Truhowsky. “Many family members don’t know what to do when they suspect that a parent or other loved one is not receiving adequate care or is even being subject to abuse”.

In addition, Ms. Truhowky will discuss the legal remedies that exist for residents who have had their rights abused. Residents of facilities are entitled to the same protections and rights as any person in our society, and can receive compensation when their rights have been violated.. Elder victims of neglect and abuse are among our most vulnerable citizens, who depend on loved ones and concerned third parties to help protect them.

The interview will occur on Wednesday, December 12th 2012 at 10 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Listeners can tune in to the broadcast over the Internet at http://toginet.com/shows/payingitforward. The program will
