patient safety, quality, risk management and service excellence

CAMBRIDGE, MA, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ - rL Solutions, the leading provider of healthcare quality and safety software, announced today that Atrius Health has selected rL Solutions as its vendor for patient safety and quality of care. Atrius Health is an alliance of five non-profit medical groups: Dedham Medical Associates, Granite Medical, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Southboro Medical Group and South Shore Medical Center.

Recognized as a leader in clinical quality by Massachusetts Health Quality Partners, the medical groups of Atrius Health serve roughly 650,000 adult and pediatric patients per year across its thirty practice locations. Realizing the benefits of an automated reporting system for improving patient safety, Atrius has chosen to deploy rL Solutions' Risk MonitorPro(R) to capture, report on and analyze incidents and events.

"Atrius Health is constantly seeking new ways to deliver optimal care to our patients," said Nancy Manchester, Director of Patient Safety and Risk Management, Atrius Health. "With over 2.3 million visits annually, it is imperative that we are able to capture and analyze every opportunity to provide excellent care through a model of continuous quality improvement. rL Solutions will be our partner in that effort."

"Atrius Health is known for its high quality preventive care and for its exceptional programs for managing chronic conditions, and it is therefore no surprise that it is continually recognized for its clinical quality," said Sanjay Malaviya, President & CEO, rL Solutions.
