Atlantic Information Services Newsletter on Health Insurance Exchanges Now Will Be Published Biweekly
Date:2/25/2013

Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 25, 2013

To accommodate a dramatic acceleration in news related to both public and private health insurance exchanges, Atlantic Information Services, Inc.’s (AIS) industry-leading newsletter "Inside Health Insurance Exchanges" began a biweekly publication schedule with its Feb. 22 issue. Previously, the hard-hitting health business newsletter was published once a month.

“Since the end of World War II, health insurance has evolved relatively slowly. But the creation of these new state marketplaces will flip the market on its head overnight,” says Managing Editor Steve Davis. “Open enrollment is slated to begin in less than eight months, and the rules have yet to be finalized.”

Atlantic Information Services launched "Inside Health Insurance Exchanges" in the summer of 2011. Since then, the trade publication has become a must-read among health plan executives, insurance exchange directors, brokers and employee benefits consultants. "Inside Health Insurance Exchanges" provides hard-hitting news and strategies on the details of state and private health insurance exchanges, for business planners with health plans, hospitals and health systems, medical groups, ancillary providers, suppliers, pharma companies and state health policy makers.

The 8-page newsletter, now published 24 times a year, answers questions about this cornerstone of the health reform law — who will participate, what product designs will look like, the effect on enrollment and more. Subscribers receive reliable intelligence on how to make the most of the enormous transformation in health insurance that is about to unfold and succeed in the insurance marketplace of tomorrow.

Davis, who joined the AIS editorial staff more than 10 years ago, has more than two decades of health care business reporting experience. He is a frequent conference speaker and is among the nation’s most knowledgeable and best-connected journalists on issues related to health insurance exchanges.
