Atlantic City Hotel’s Negligence Caused Conditions that Led to Serious Injuries, Alleges Lawsuit Filed by Parker Waichman LLP
Date:6/4/2013

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 04, 2013

Parker Waichman LLP, a national law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of victims of trip and fall accidents, has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a man who was injured, allegedly due to negligent conditions at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The suit was filed on April 24, 2013 in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland County Civil Law Division (Docket No. L-413-13). Tropicana Entertainment, Inc. and Tropicana Hotel and Casino have been named as Defendants.

According to the Complaint, the Plaintiff was a guest at the Tropicana Casino and Resort on August 17, 2011 when he tripped and fell. The lawsuit alleges that the severe and permanent injuries he sustained were caused by the dangerous and defective conditions at the hotel. The Plaintiff suffered from pain, shock and mental anguish as a result of his injury, the suit alleges. The lawsuit also alleges that these damages will lead to ongoing expenses for medical care and attention. Furthermore, the lawsuit alleges that the Plaintiff was and will continue to be unable to perform normal activities and that there was no negligence on his part in any way.

Parker Waichman LLP regularly represents individuals who were injured because an outside party failed to provide safe or adequate conditions. Trip and fall accidents are common situations that fit into this category. These types of injuries might be caused by a wet floor with no caution sign, an uneven sidewalk or other negligent conditions that lead to a slip, trip or fall. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), falls can lead to hip fractures, head injuries and may increase the risk of early death. The agency also reports that 20 to 30 percent of people who fall suffer from an injury.

Parker Waichman LLP is a leading mass tort, environmental and personal injury law firm that represents plaintiffs in slip and fall lawsuits in New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Florida and nationwide. For more than two decades, Parker Waichman LLP has assisted thousands of clients in receiving fair compensation due to the negligence of others.
