At an Annual Breast Cancer Conference, Breast Cancer Survivor and Founder of Pink Perfect Announces How Her Nipple Prosthesis Product Helps Hundreds of Women
Date:8/15/2014

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) August 15, 2014

Michelle Kolath-Arbel, a breast cancer survivor and the owner of Pink Perfect, a company that provides a more natural nipple prosthesis for women who have had breast reconstruction following mastectomy, recently announced how her product helps hundreds of women at the fourth annual C4YW conference (Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer). There she connected with over 1,000 fellow breast cancer survivors.

After going through chemo sessions, biological and hormonal treatments, and a unilateral mastectomy, Arbel looked in the mirror and didn’t like what she saw. Her breast was reconstructed without a nipple and none of the existing nipple prostheses looked natural. Using a mold that replicated the exact shape, size, and color of her remaining nipple, Arbel created a prosthesis that looked natural and could be worn in the shower or swimming pool. It was a major improvement on available nipple prosthesis; it was thinner and gave a more natural appearance.

This year, 70,000 men and women under 45 will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. alone, studies show. Today over 200 Israeli and American women as well as leading plastic surgeons have discovered Arbel’s product and saw firsthand how it improves the lives of breast cancer survivors. Only a breast cancer survivor who wore a nipple prosthesis herself was able to create a prosthesis that would satisfy other women who aren’t satisfied with other products on the market.

“I’m the only breast cancer survivor who makes this kind of product and actually uses it on a daily basis,” Arbel said. “I got my self-confidence back. I could wear bathing suits again, go to the gym, and share intimate moments again. I was so thrilled I decided not to undergo nipple reconstructive surgery. With my product I just want to change the lives of women and to help them feel whole again like I do.”
