Administrative Services to begin operations in Seattle

KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Assurant Employee Benefits, a national carrier of life and disability insurance and dental coverage, today announces the formation of a new Administrative Services department in Seattle, Wa.

The new department was formed with the acquisition of certain capabilities, technology assets, and employees of a Seattle-based Third Party Administrator (TPA), Administrative Systems, Inc., with which the company has worked closely since 2003. Adding these new capabilities as a department within Assurant Employee Benefits greatly enhances the company's administrative platform in the voluntary (employee-paid) benefits market.
