Aggressive Growth Planned for 2010, Hiring to Remain Brisk

Syracuse, NY (PRWEB) February 5, 2010 -- Aspen Dental (www.aspendent.com), one of the largest and fastest-growing providers of denture and dental care services in the U.S., announced that it experienced significant growth in 2009, opening 44 new dental offices for an expansion of nearly 25 percent. The openings, which included the company’s first offices in five new states (Florida, Kentucky, Oregon, Vermont and Washington), brought the total number of Aspen Dental practices to 224 locations in 19 states at the end of the year.

More than 340,000 new patients visited an Aspen Dental office during 2009, compared with 260,000 in 2008, a 30 percent increase. In total, Aspen Dental saw more than half a million patients in 2009, recording more than 1.5 million total patient visits. Additionally, Aspen Dental’s central and onsite denture labs produced more than 100,000 full and partial Comfidents® brand dentures last year.

“I’m proud of the way our company continued to grow in what was a challenging economic environment. Our expansion is a credit to the hard work and commitment of our talented team of dental health professionals, office staff and Practice Support Center team,” said Robert Fontana, president and CEO of Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI). “Moreover, we made a number of investments and improvements in 2009 that position us for success in 2010 and beyond, including the enhancement of our patient satisfaction program; expansion of our patient service and scheduling center; redesign of our patient Web site and addition of new patient education resources; the introduction of new training initiatives; and the launch of a dynamic new advertising campaign.”
